I happen to prefer a book with a little more depth of character analysis, and The Truth About Dating obliges. All in all, a fun read that had me empathizing with the protagonist and enjoying the fresh voice of Julie Christensen.

I stuck with it hoping it would get better but it never did! As a single woman in my late twenties, I can relate very well to this book.

Her travails, and her witty exposition of them, provide an entertaining read.

At least a score of times, I laughed out loud at her ironic observations or the tortuous situations in which she found herself. She provides a rich palette of secondary characters comprised of Quin Clever introverted Quinn needs a man--and fast.

The Truth About Dating recounts Quinn’s endeavors, from to speed dating, to the dreaded blind date.

Quinn details the the madness of dating, from excitement to exhaustion, and depression to acceptance.
